Safe management of drugs a step closer for UK ambulances

Healthcare Software is pleased to advise that Controlled Drugs Management (CDM) has been accepted onto the new UK Government G-Cloud 15 procurement platform through its distributor Ortivus.

G-Cloud 15, which will go live on 6 August 2026, enables UK Ambulance Trusts to procure solutions with confidence from vendors that have satisfied strict pre-qualification by HM Government represented by the Government Commercial Agency. G-Cloud 15 is the procurement platform dedicated to cloud hosting, software and support services and gives a quick and easy route to market.

CDM is already in use in two Ambulance NHS Trusts with more looking to take advantage of the solution as they uplift their medication management, improve quality and safety, save money and transform governance by moving away from paper record-keeping to real-time assurance.
